FRAMED ITEMS
Must be well presented with appropriate fittings. Clip frames are not acceptable.

UNFRAMED CANVASES
Ensure that the image continues around all four sides to complete the painting

MINIATURES
Size = no more than 35sq/ins (7x5ins or 175x125mm) ... including frame

LABELS
Attach 1 label (BAS or personally designed) to the back. Complete this with “Title, Your Name, Medium, Price (or NFS if not for sale)”. No hang-down label required; the current system is to number each item, the number listed on an information sheet. In the event of a purchase enquiry, the information sheet will have contact details of four BAS members.

FIXINGS
Fix D-rings and string to hang pictures.
(n.b. there will be NO facility to affix the above items at display venues. Sufficient supplies can be obtained from the Studio - D-rings at a small cost)

SOLARIS EXHIBITIONS
The Solaris hanging system does NOT require strings, just the D-rings placed in the vertical position.

GRUNDY EXHIBITIONS
The Grundy Gallery hanging system does NOT require strings, just earplates placed at the sides about one third from the top, protruding so that the picture can be screwed to the wall.

BOOTHS EXHIBITIONS
No string required, but an extra D-ring screwed on the top frame exactly centred in the vertical position (put on all 3 just in case!) plus one identification label affixed to the rear, and a hang-over label on a short string to allow the creation of the catalogue (no label below is necessary as the items will be numbered to correspond with the catalogue)
